Vanilla Beans are the seeds of the vanilla orchid. These seeds are used as the primary raw material in making vanilla extract and to impart the aroma and flavor of vanilla to various foods and beverages.
Vanilla Beans grow on the vanilla plant, which is a climbing orchid. Vanilla seeds are produced from the pollinated vanilla flowers, which then develop into pods. Mature vanilla pods are harvested and processed to obtain the vanilla beans.
It is best to store Vanilla Beans in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. You can keep them in a glass or airtight plastic jar. Make sure to keep the Vanilla Beans dry and away from direct sunlight.
